Why anyone flies a private jet this far

Brussels to Paris is a short flight, and the train is quick too. People charter anyway for three reasons. The flight leaves when you do, there is no station queue at either end, and a private terminal at Brussels and Le Bourget has you out of the building and into a car in minutes. For a party of three or four going on to something, that is a real morning saved.

AircraftSeatsIn the airFrom, one way
Citation MustangUp to 440 min£5,875 · a very light jet for up to four, the lowest price
Citation CJ26–740 min£7,700 · six or seven seats and a larger hold

These are prices for the whole aircraft, one way, with no UK VAT, based on the quotes we obtained in October 2026. A small jet is cheap on a sector this short, but the fixed costs of crew, handling and landing mean the price does not fall in proportion to the distance.

Two aircraft

The Citation Mustang is a very light jet for up to four, with a hold that takes four cases. It is the lowest price and takes about 40 min. The CJ2 takes six or seven and has a 65 cubic foot hold, and the flight takes about 40 min. Over a distance this short the extra speed makes almost no difference to the time, so choose by seats and luggage. The very light jets page has the class.

The two airports

Brussels Airport’s business aviation terminals are at Building 28 (ExecuJet and Luxaviation) and Ringweg 36C (AviaVIP), with customs on site and the airport open 24 hours. Private flights need a slot, and none are issued in the early hours of Saturday, Sunday and Monday, roughly midnight to 06:00. The city centre is about 22 minutes by car. The Brussels page has the rest.

Le Bourget is open 24 hours with customs on site and about 20 minutes from central Paris, with a night rule that stops jets leaving the stand between 22:15 and 06:00 and heavier propeller aircraft between 23:15 and 06:00. The details are on the Le Bourget page, with our Paris comparison of all seven airports and Charter-A.com’s Brussels guide.

Making a day of it

A morning departure from Brussels reaches Paris before 09:30, and the aircraft can wait for an evening return, or fly home and come back, which we price both ways. Cars at either end can be arranged at cost through our chauffeur partner in Paris. The same Paris airport from the north of England is Manchester to Paris, and the Alpine alternative to a city break is Cambridge to Geneva.

Brussels to Paris: your questions answered

How much is a private jet from Brussels to Paris?

One way, from £5,875 on a Citation Mustang and from £7,700 on a Citation CJ2, for the whole aircraft. They are based on October 2026 quotes; your quote gives the price for your date.

How long does the flight take?

About 40 min in a Citation Mustang, over roughly 140 nautical miles. Taxiing and the approach add a little on the ground either end.

Which Brussels terminal do you use?

One of the business aviation terminals, ExecuJet or Luxaviation in Building 28 or AviaVIP at Ringweg 36C, depending on the aircraft and the handler. Customs are on site and the airport is open 24 hours, but private flights need a slot.

Can the aircraft wait for us in Paris?

Yes. We price a return with the aircraft waiting and one where it flies home and comes back, so you can choose. Le Bourget has a night rule that stops jets leaving between 22:15 and 06:00 local time.
