Three light jets, three prices
This is the longest of our Manchester light-jet flights, and it is the one where the size of the party matters most to the price.
| Aircraft | Seats | In the air | From, one way |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citation CJ2 | 6–7 | 3 hr 05 min | £13,900 · the lowest price, for up to six or seven |
| Phenom 300E | Up to 9 | 3 hr 05 min | £18,775 · more room and a bigger hold |
| Citation CJ3 | Up to 8 | 3 hr 05 min | £20,400 · up to eight, with a longer cabin |
All three prices are for the whole aircraft, one way, and include our fee. There is no UK VAT. They come from a quote we obtained in October 2026, so a date in school holidays, Easter or the height of summer will cost more, and a quiet week in the shoulder season sometimes less. We price a return as a return, which is usually cheaper than two single flights, and we ask whether the aircraft should wait in Málaga or fly home empty and come back for you.
Choosing between them
The Citation CJ2 is the economy answer and enough for most parties of up to six: about 3 hr 05 min in the air with a 65 cubic foot hold, which takes golf clubs. The Phenom 300E is one of the quickest light jets, about 3 hr 05 min, and its hold of 74 to 84 cubic feet suits a family with real luggage. The Citation CJ3 seats up to eight and has the longest cabin of the three, which is worth having when eight adults share it for three hours.
If you are travelling for the golf, the luggage guide has the numbers; the light jets page shows the rest of the class.

Arriving at Málaga
Málaga’s general aviation terminal is separate from the main one, off the old Aeroclub road. The airport is open 24 hours with Spanish customs and immigration on site, inside the FBO terminal, and the runway is 3,198 metres, so no aircraft is ruled out and no arrival time is awkward. Several handlers work there, including Jetex and Universal. Marbella and the Costa del Sol are a road transfer from there, and the city centre is ten kilometres, 15 to 20 minutes, away. The Málaga page has the whole picture, with Charter-A.com’s Málaga guide for the destination.
Home from Manchester
A morning departure from either of Manchester’s private terminals (both are described here) puts you in Spain for a late lunch, as Spain is one hour ahead. We can book a car at Málaga at cost through our chauffeur partner. For another Spanish island on the same kind of flight, see Liverpool to Ibiza; for the same aircraft over a different border, Manchester to Milan.
Manchester to Málaga: your questions answered
How much is a private jet from Manchester to Málaga?
One way, from £13,900 on a Citation CJ2, from £18,775 on a Phenom 300E and from £20,400 on a Citation CJ3, for the whole aircraft and with no UK VAT. They are based on an October 2026 quote; the price for your date is in your quote.
How long does Manchester to Málaga take by private jet?
About 3 hr 05 min in a Phenom 300E and about 3 hr 05 min in a Citation CJ2, over roughly 1005 nautical miles. Routing and winds change the time on the day.
Does Málaga have customs for private flights?
Yes. The general aviation terminal has Spanish customs and immigration on site, and the airport is open 24 hours.
Can we bring golf clubs?
Yes, within the hold. The CJ2 has a 65 cubic foot hold and the Phenom 300E has 74 to 84, so both take a set of clubs for each golfer in a party of four. Tell us the party and the bags when you enquire.
