Return prices, because that is how people fly to Milan
Most Manchester to Milan flights are business trips or a fashion-week visit with a return the same day or the next, so the figures here are for the return, not a single sector, and they are for the whole aircraft.
| Aircraft | Seats | In the air | From, return |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citation CJ2 | 6–7 | 2 hr 05 min | £24,675 · the lower price, up to six or seven |
| Phenom 300E | Up to 9 | 2 hr 05 min | £32,675 · higher cruising speed, larger hold |
A return price is worked out for both legs and for the aircraft either waiting or coming back for you. There is no UK VAT. These came from a quote we obtained in October 2026; fashion weeks, the Salone del Mobile and the trade fairs at Rho are the dates when the price rises most, and so does short notice. For a one-way flight, ask us and we will price it.
The two aircraft
The Citation CJ2 takes up to seven and takes about 2 hr 05 min each way. The Phenom 300E is one of the quickest light jets, taking about 2 hr 05 min, and has a hold of 74 to 84 cubic feet, which suits a party with samples or sets of luggage. Between the two there is a gap of several thousand pounds, so unless time or bags demand the Phenom, the CJ2 is the one we recommend. The light jets page shows the others.

Linate, close to the city
Linate is the airport for people who want to be in the city, not an hour outside it. Milano Prime, the business aviation terminal at Viale dell’Aviazione 65, has a lounge and its own apron, and passengers arriving from abroad can be out of the airport 10 to 15 minutes after landing. The terminal is open 06:00 to 22:00 local time and 24 hours on request, customs and immigration are available there, and the runway is 2,442 metres. The centre is about eight kilometres away. The Linate page has the facts, the Milan page compares Linate with Malpensa and Bergamo, and Charter-A.com has a Linate guide and a fashion week page.
Manchester and home
Italy is one hour ahead, so a 07:30 departure from either of Manchester’s private terminals (described here) lands before 11:00 in Milan with a full day ahead. A car at Linate can be booked at cost through our chauffeur partner. Other routes we have priced: Málaga and Athens from Farnborough.

A return from £24,675 on a Citation CJ2 and from £32,675 on a Phenom 300E, for the whole aircraft and with no UK VAT. They are based on an October 2026 quote; your quote gives the price for your dates.
