Six aircraft for one sector
Errachidia is a long way from the usual private jet map, which is why the choice of aircraft here is wide and every one of the six below is a midsize or larger jet with the range to fly it non-stop. We priced them for a party of eight on a single outbound flight.
| Aircraft | Seats | In the air | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Challenger 3500 | Up to 8 | 3 hr 20 min | super-midsize, a flat-floor six-foot cabin and a 106 cubic foot hold |
| Citation Latitude | Up to 9 | 3 hr 20 min | a wide, quiet cabin for eight |
| Citation Sovereign+ | Up to 9 | 3 hr 20 min | long range and a roomy cabin |
| Praetor 600 | Up to 9 | 3 hr 20 min | super-midsize, a roomy cabin for eight |
| Hawker 800XP | Up to 8 | 3 hr 20 min | a comfortable oval cabin, club seating for eight |
| Citation III | Up to 8 | 3 hr 20 min | the walk-about cabin of the 650 family |
Your quote gives one fully inclusive price for the whole aircraft, one way, for your date, with the options we can offer that day. The right pick is usually the cabin and the hold: the Challenger 3500 has a 106 cubic foot hold and a six-foot cabin, while the Hawker 800XP and Citation III are the midsize pair. The midsize jets page and the super-midsize page compare them.
The flight and the clock
Allow about 3 hr 20 min in the air, depending on the aircraft, the winds and the route over Spain and the Atlas. Morocco keeps UTC+1 for most of the year, the same clock as Paris in winter, so there is no hour to gain or lose on a winter flight. A smaller jet that needs a fuel stop is left out of this page on purpose: every aircraft above flies it non-stop.
Leaving Le Bourget
Paris Le Bourget is open 24 hours, with customs on site round the clock and a 2,991 metre runway. It has private terminals from several handlers in the business aviation zone, and the centre of Paris is about 20 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. Jets cannot leave the stand for take-off between 22:15 and 06:00 local time, so a late evening departure has to be planned around that rule. The Le Bourget page has the detail, and a chauffeur in Paris can take you to the aircraft: our chauffeur partner in Paris. A Brussels to Paris flight is on its own page.
Errachidia: what to know before you go
Moulay Ali Cherif Airport serves the town of Errachidia in the Drâa-Tafilalet region, with a single 3,200 metre asphalt runway, long enough for every jet above. It is a public airport that the Moroccan military also uses, so we do not quote opening hours or customs arrangements from a table: both are confirmed with the authorities and the handler when we book, and that is why we ask for passenger details and the date early. See the Errachidia page. For another long flight to a smaller airport, Farnborough to Athens shows how we plan the sector.
